We currently have an opportunity available for a Captain BE02. Reporting to the Chief Pilot, this position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following: Type of Employment: Full-time Location: Calgary Position Shift: 10 and 4 or 5 and 2 Salary/Hourly: $85,500-$110,000 Competition Deadline: 2026-10-31 Date Posted: 2025-07-10 Duties and Responsibilities: The BE02 Captain is entrusted with ensuring the safe and effective operation of the BE02 aircraft. Execute all necessary duties and responsibilities associated with the BE02 aircraft. Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations in accordance with company requirements, Transport Canada, and CARs (Civil Aviation Regulations). Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot and/or Deputy Chief Pilot. Participate in flexible scheduling arrangements, including 5 and 2 , with Sat/Sun off or 10 and 4 with Friday to Monday off. The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies. In addition personality profiling will be required of all candidates granted an interview for this position. Qualifications, Experience and Competencies: Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence. Possess a valid Instrument and Type rating (if required). A valid Canadian passport or resident status with the necessary visas to travel freely within Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, South America, and Western Europe. Willingness and ability to travel to the United States for training purposes. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC). Successful completion of a criminal background check. 3,000 hours Total Time. 2,000 hours PIC. 1,500 hours Multi-Engine. 1,000 hours Multi PIC. Preference will be given to candidates with time on type. Demonstrate excellent customer service abilities. Possess strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Exhibit good organizational and time management skills. Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Adhere to the safety accountabilities as per Sunwest’s Safety Management System manual.
