In its early days, the airline operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Chrono quickly attracted a clientele looking for a comfortable, efficient and safe flying experience. After a decade of operations, Chrono Aviation has grown its fleet to 15 aircraft and employs over 200 people. Chrono is the only airline in Quebec that offers aircraft that can accommodate from 9 to 189 passengers exclusively for charters. With bases in Montreal and Quebec City, Chrono Aviation continues to expand and strengthen its leadership position in the air charter industry in Quebec and Canada. The top priority of a Chrono Aviation pilot, whether he or she is a captain or first office is to ensure the safe operation of each flight, while ensuring passenger comfort and on-time performance. The prerequisites to join our great team: • Hold a valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence - Aeroplane (CPL-A) • Hold a valid Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certificate • Hold a valid Group 1 Instrument Rating (IFR) • Hold a Multi-Engine Rating • Have successfully completed the IATRA, or the SARON and SAMRA examinations, or hold an ATPL-A • Have a minimum of 800 hours of flight time • Experience on the Beechcraft 1900/1900D is preferred • Turbine aircraft experience is preferred • A Beechcraft 1900D type rating is considered an asset • Be legally entitled to work in Canada • Hold a valid Canadian passport • Be able to work in both French and English in an operational environment • Be willing to work from our Québec City (CYQB) base Our working conditions : • A competitive salary chart; a salary to match. • Possibility of bond buyback for initial training, if applicable • A full-time, permanent position at our base in Québec • 10 days off per month • Modern and dynamic work environment • Work schedule adapted to our common needs • Access to a telemedicine platform • Group RRSP to which the company contributes • Advantageous group insurance with employer contribution (dental, disability, life and paramedical) from day 1 • Projects and responsibilities that meet your expectations and make you want to come to work every day • Opportunity for professional growth and developments!
